Week Four Roster Help

1-2 to start the season in a ppr league. Michael Vick kind of screwed me over the past couple of weeks....anyway. I need a little help picking my wide receivers this week. I have both Hakeem Nicks and Greg Jennings so i am all set there but my third slot has some decisions. I have Percy Harvin, Steve Smith (Car), and Davone Bess. Which guy do i plug in? Also, we get .25 points for every 25 return yards.

I think it's Harvin

If he’s going to break out, it’s going to be this week. KC is atrocious on pass defense, and even McNabb should be able to take advantage. Plus Harvin is getting carries in the rushing game. I think this is the week you gamble on him.

Which is not to say I like Harvin overall

I don’t like him for this year in general. I think Minnesota is going to rely on the run game with AP and Harvin simply doesn’t have the physical size or strength to become a top NFL receiver, especially without a high-quality QB getting him the ball.

I agree with you.

Harvin is due to break out and the coaches have promised to get him more involved in the offense. I like his chances against the “Berry-less” Chiefs defense.

Steve Smith does continue to surprise with this outrageous level of production, but I was dead-on about Harvin breaking out last week. Smith only outscored him by 3 points in my league, so I’m going to call it a push.

Harvin is great and I’m a big Vikings fan but the Chiefs will be keying on AP and Harvin. Stop them and you stop the Vikings.
