Trout trade help

SO most articles I have read have said that trading mike trout is a no-no.

That being said I was just offered a trade that at least makes me think about trading him.

Star-divide

The trade would be:

I give:

Mike Trout

Round 28 pick

ROund 27 pick

I receive

Joey Votto

1st round pick

4th round pick

THe league is 8 teams, 225 players total 6 x 6 with Hits, R, HR, RBI, SB, OBP and W, L, K, Sv, WHIP, ERA

Votto can not be kept, so he is a 3 month rental

While trout can be kept next two years for a 23rd round pick

What do you guys think?

Agreed

Votto is great - but no way I’d do this deal.

nope

Votto got an rbi tonight…which makes about 4 total over nearly the last month…he’s slim on hr’s over that time as well…sure he keeps hitting for avg but I’ve had offers from Votto owners and it seems like people are starting to wear a little thin with his production…if you want Votto just offer up something else as there’s a chance his value won’t be much lower this year than it is right now…but, don’t trade Trout for him

I'd keep Trout

Young stud and you control him

Really no doubt

Gotta keep Trout. It’d be a much more interesting deal if you could keep Votto, and would at least ask the question of where you are in the league, but even in a vacuum THIS year, how much more would Votto provide then Trout (and now Votto is out, what, 2-4 weeks? 4-6?).

The added ability to hold onto Trout for two more years erases all doubts - keep the fish.
