Domonic Brown?

With rumors of The Phillies possibly moving Victorino or Juan Pierre, there's a possibility we may see Domonic Brown in the majors again this year.

My question is, what fantasy value, if any, does he have?

Its been a while since he's had any hype on him, and thumb injuries are always tricky for hitters.

Baseball Prospectus' 10-year projections show a guy who hits about .260, with maybe 19 HR a year and 17 SB.

Does this sound about right? An almost 20/20 guy?

Is he worth a stash on a roster now in deep keeper leagues before the word gets out, or is he waiver wire material?

Thanks, as always

I wouldn't touch Brown

With a 50’ pole. There’s just something not right about him… at best, I see him being one of those “post-hype” players that’ll peak in his late 20’s, have maybe a good year, probably just half a year, and that’ll be it.

I had him in a keepers league up until this years draft, when I traded him and was all-to-ready to move on. Funnily enough, the team I traded him too was begging for someone to take him off his hands. Many better prospects to wait for/hold onto then Brown.

Just my two cents.
