http://gentlemensdynstylg.proboards.com/index.cgi

I am starting a brand new dynasty league beginning in 2012 for anyone interested in a challenging and dynamic twist on fantasy baseball. I have about 7-8 slots left. Please only sign up if you are COMMITTED to the league for a long time. We will begin in Mid-May to early June 2011 with our private auction bidding. I will post 25 players a week to be bid on to a private account that I will only have access to. We will do this for 12-13 weeks. Next, we will hold a 40 round minor league draft to fill up our farms. That should take us another 2 months roughly to complete. Then, trading, FA, waivers, buyouts, etc. will open up. We will be using CBS as our scoring site. It will be $12-$15 to play in EGDL (Exclusive Gentlemen's Dynasty League). I will only requirement as much as it takes to pay for the CBS site. Any future discounts CBS gives me I will pass along to you guys. The exact amount will be determined when CBS opens up their baseball in 2012. If this sounds interesting and you would like to play, then please register (it's open) and send me a PM or a reply email here that you are taking a spot. You may use any real life team name not taken or any past team name in our favorite past time's great history! For example, you may use Seattle Pilots, New York Gothams, Boston Beaneaters or even the Montreal Expos. It is purely up to you. Below this short essay is a few more features I have added to set my dynasty league apart from the rest. I will also have a google spreadsheet as well in the future to keep track of the many different transactions we will consume. I would love for you to join us as we embark on a quest for some real fantasy baseball! My name is Reid and I will be your league commissioner.

Some other notable features of this deep and complex dynasty league:

- 14 teams
- 27 man rosters
- 40 man minors
- trading, prospecting, (in-season prospect pickups as well)
- 5 round amateur draft each off-season
- franchise, restricted, AND prospect tags
- the ability to trade players, picks (1 season in advance too), cash, AND all sorts of tags
- competition picks which are sandwich picks between the 1st/2nd round of the amateur draft
(these are tradeable)
- in-season private FA done TWICE A WEEK (sent to another account that only I have access to)
complex buyout rules and even penalties for retired players (plan ahead for these)
- the ability to waive veterans to your minors, but they must pass thru waivers first for 24 hours

AND MANY MORE features as well! Please sign up and read the rules. Please ask if you have any questions or ideas for them also. Let's play ball!

payment

I will give managers an option of paying via old-fashioned mail OR paypal online. I will setup a paypal account later for owners who want to pay that way.

I will replace owners who appear to be inactive. I intend on running a dynasty league for a long time seeing as this will be my only one, I will have time to replace owners if need be.

I hope that allievates your concern.
