Cole is the one of the top pitchers in the fake game, and no matter what your league format is, this signing won’t change that outlook. You’ll have to pay up to snag him in your fake league, and you’ll do so in Round 1. And you’ll like it. And it will be worth it. For what it’s worth, Cole went 7th overall in my Pitcher List Mock, ahead of Jacob deGrom (10th) and Walker Buehler (12th). Get ready to open up your wallet...maybe just not quite as much as the Yankees did!
