Fantasy Football Keeper League Question

Rate these players in order of how valuable you think they are in a keeper league:

Hakeem Nicks, New York Giants

Steven Jackson, St. Louis Rams

Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers

Jason Witten, Dallas Cowboys

Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings

Stevie Johnson, Buffalo Bills

Greg Jennings, Green Bay Packers

Steven Ridley, New England Patriots

Need to keep 4 players but can trade anybody who I do not keep if anybody else is interested. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks a lot.

Here it is:

1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Peterson (though he is injured - valuable if you can hold down a bench spot for him and even more so if there is a DL eligible spot)
3. Jennings (get the connection with Rodgers)
4. Nicks
5. Brown (up and coming and Wallace may leave next year due to money demanded)
6. Johnson (I think he is a really good WR but it’ll be interesting to see how he plays now that he has been paid - may be a drop in production)
7. Ridley
8. Jackson (getting older and inevitable drop off)
9. Witten

I think you got 6 really good options (top 6) as keepers. What I would do is try to trade Stevie Johnson and Nicks in order to get one more elite RB to ensure that you get production from that position while AP is out. If you are able to do that, I would target a solid WR, another RB and a TE in that order in the draft.

A good TE you may be able to find in later rounds is Jared Cook, who showed a lot of potential at the end of the 2011 season.

By the end, you will then have an elite QB (Rodgers), 3 solid RBs (AP, one through trade, one through draft), 2 solid WRs (Jennings and one through draft) and 2 good TEs (one early in draft and Cook in later rounds).

Of course this also depends on how many starters your fantasy football allows. If it is a 2RB, 2WR and a flex, this would work out perfect.

If it is a 2 RB and 3WR, instead of trading Nicks/Johnson for a RB, do it for a WR. Also you may be able to trade Jackson and Witten for some pieces.
