Around SBN: Pacquiao vs Bradley: Bradley Wants Fight To Go The Distance

Should I go after a big name 1B,RP, or what am I missing?

I am part of a 12 team HTH fantasy keeper league in which we will keep 2 batters and 2 pitchers each year.

Hitting stats are: R, H, HR, RBI, SB, TB, AVG, OBP, & SLG

Pitching stats are: W, L, CG, SV, K, HLD, ERA, WHIP, & QS

My team currently is:

C- Miguel Montero

1B- Lucas Duda

2B- Dan Uggla

SS- Asdrubal Cabrera

3B- David Wright

OF- Curtis Granderson

OF- Jacoby Ellsbury

OF- Melky Cabrera

Util- Derek Jeter

Util- Howie Kendrick

BN- Peter Bourjos

BN- Coco Crisp

BN/DL- Stephen Drew

Starting Pitchers: C.J. Wilson, Matt Harrison, Shaun Marcum, Johnny Cueto, Ivan Nova, Colby Lewis, Dan Hudson

DL- Chris Carpenter

Relief Pitchers: Joaquin Benoit, Fernando Rodney, Francisco Cordero, Kyle Farnsworth- DL

As of now, my keepers for next year will likely be Ellsbury, Granderson, C.J. Wilson, and Chris Carpenter

Now, we only have 2 DL spots on our roster, of which I am holding Carpenter and Farnsworth. I know I need at least 1 more RP for more saves, especially since Rodney will probably be switching off with Farnsworth once he comes off DL. I have Benoit and Cordero for holds, which I kind of feel like is a waste of a pitcher slot. Should I drop/trade one of them for someone to get me more saves? My starting rotation looks somewhat reliable, not overpowering and could likely use some work. When I look at my batters, I see a very good OF, Wright is solid at 3B (as long as he is healthy), and a decent SS platoon between jeter and cabrera. My biggest concern is at 1B however. I have kendrick as a util. and Duda slotted there now, which in week 1 was a good move, but I am wondering how Duda will hold up over the course of the year. So there you have it, where should I look to improve, who should I move, what would you do!? ANY help is greatly appreciated!

you'd be hard pressed to trade holds for saves

Duda is gunna hit 285 ish with 25 ish jacks so don’t worry about 1st. Sell high on Melky Cabrera. He’s not gunna get 200 hits again

What do you suggest I go after?

I am liking Duda, more and more. I had Melky last year and loved him, but I can’t disagree with the fact that he won’t get 200 hits again… that being said, what position should I be looking for?

Also, I picked up Kyle Seager’s hot bat off of waivers to cover me at 3B until Wright gets this broken pinky sorted out…
