We wrapped up Catcher Week on Sunday with our backstops to avoid, and the fantasy baseball (content) season rolls on today as we begin First Base Week with our consensus rankings.
Right away, first base can get tricky. Dual-eligibility and the popularity of NFBC drafts can skew things a bit. So while I have excluded catcher Tyler Stephenson—playing him anywhere besides catcher would be insane—I am including some middle infield types like DJ LeMahieu, Ty France, and Jake Cronenworth. These guys are useful pieces to your fake team, but if you’re JUST looking for production at first base they may not be the way that you go.
Let’s get into our staff rankings, and as always, we welcome your (respectable) dissent in the comments.
