Pitcher to Target: Lance McCullers ($9700) vs. Kansas City Royals
McCullers and his nasty curveball have been plowing through lineups as he owns a 10.46 K/9 this season. McCullers has great control, especially for a strikeout specialist. He also owns a 3.27 GB/FB and a 25.0 Hard% in 2017, which is why he has only given up 6 home runs so far this season. The Royals’ .692 OPS against righties is the third worst in the AL, so expect to see a low scoring game from the blue and gold today.
Pitcher to Stack Against: Alec Asher vs. Washington Nationals
Asher produces a lot of fly balls, and he is going up against one of the best lineups in the majors this year. Over the past three seasons, left-handed batters are hitting .278/.325/.479 with a 35.0 Hard% and a 0.7 GB/FB against him. This makes for a great stack as the Nationals are loaded with powerful left-handed bats with guys like Zimmerman, Harper, Murphy and even Adam Lind. When he is on the road this season, opposing batters have hit .272/.348/.544. With a fly ball pitcher and a lot of power bats, we could see a good amount of home runs today from the Nationals.
With that being said let us take a look at my sample lineup for today. (Subject to Change)

Final Thoughts
As you can see from my lineup, I am buying into the Phillies stack today. Dickey has been struggling this season, and a lot of Phillies batters have had past success against the aging veteran. Other players I like include Kyle Seager, Robinson Cano and even Andrew McCutchen. McCutchen has struggled this season, but has had a lot of success in the past against Volquez. Look for him to possibly breakout today against the Marlins.
