Given his performances ove the past two seasons, the contract OF Dave Dellucci signed with the Indians is not unreasonable. DD's on-base ability seems real - .367 in 2005, .384 post-7/31/2006.
He also provides a platoon mate for last off-season's roto-commentariat fav, Jason Michaels.
Given the escalating contracts and DD's abilty to hit left-handed and get on-base, this contract should age well enough that it will not block any developing minor leaguers. (Although OF Brad Snyder just saw his platoon opening into the majors slammed shut.)
