Tournament Information:
Wyndham Championship
Date: August 12th – 15th
Course: Sedgefield Country Club
Purse: $6.4MM ($1.2MM to winner)
2020 Winner: Jim Herman (-21)
Course
Sedgefield Country Club (Ross Course). Established in 1926, this 7,120 yard par 70 course was designed by Donald Ross. It holds a course rating of 75.3 and a slope rating of 143. It is fairly open featuring some thicker roughs and rolling hills. The generous space must be used, if players wander off too much, they will need a weedwhacker to get their ball out. Quality putting is usually at a premium here and should be prioritized. Brandt Snedeker had a notorious round score of 59 here in 2018.
