The Pittsburgh Pirates have placed pitcher Nick Burdi on the 45-day IL with an elbow injury.

Fantasy Impact

Burdi was pitching well for the Pirates in the bullpen, but the injury bug has bit him once again. He’s dealt with injuries his whole career and we were hoping they wouldn’t get in the way this time. With him set to miss 45 days, you can drop him no problem now.
