The San Francisco 49ers are activating tight end Jordan Reed off IR to play Thursday night against the Green Bay Packers.
The #49ers are planning to activate TE Jordan Reed off Injured Reserve to play vs. the #Packers, source said. So one skill position being added, not subtracted. Reed has been on IR since early October.

Fantasy Impact
We saw Reed fill in for George Kittle back in Week 2 and catch seven of his eight targets for 50 yards and two touchdowns. He then promptly got injured Week 3 against the Giants and hasn’t played since. Still, given the lack of healthy pass catchers for the Niners tonight, taking a flier on Reed isn’t the worst idea.
