minorleagueball got flagged

I just tried to visit minorleagueball and my computer flagged it and blocked me from accessing it. Anybody else have this problem?

This post is going to fall woefully short of the minimum word count. Im at thirty five at the beginning of this sentence, what is the minimum requirement? This is a pain, can't we adjust this? why do we have this? bahhhh how now brown cow how now brown cow how now brown cow

It was a firefox thing

and i believe they resolved it

a few sites are still impacted….it was a malware virus of some sort.

If you saw a red page with a warning that visiting the site may harm your computer then Google’s blacklist of sites is the cause. Google Safe Browsing diagnostic page for minorleagueball is here - http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=minorleagueball.com/

Google Safe Browsing does not detect malware but it blocks sites that have a history of malware the same way McAfee SiteAdvisor or WOT works. The site history appears to be that someone had a link (probably with their screen name) and that link was to a malicious site. It was probably to a site that had been compromised with an exploit. The other trigger was a banner ad which was probably a compromised 3rd party ad. If you use Firefox or Chrome (or one of their variants) and have the safe browsing feature enabled (and your blacklist was updated) you should have been blocked from going to the minorleagueball site. The blacklist of sites is saved on your computer and is updated whenever Chrome or Firefox updates (a number of times per day). Once the site was determined to be cleaned the next update removes the site from the blacklist.
