Just traded for Kershaw-How did i do?
Ok in my 20 team keeper league I just traded for Clayton Kershaw. I sent Josh Hamilton and Tommy Hanson and also my first round pick in the off-season non keeper draft. Each team keeps 10 players so the player draft starts with the probably around the 200Th best player in the league.
So in my opinion, It was Kershaw for oft injured Hamilton and Shoulder issue Hanson plus a player ranked around 210th in fantasy.
I know i'm justifying but this gives me the future rotation of Lester, Kershaw, Shelby Miller, Julio Teheran, Brett Anderson, and Brian Matusz .

Definitely like it long term...
I think we start to see decline in Hamilton’s numbers next year…and we already know he can’t put together more than 130 games as is.
Hanson it a little tougher to project. Assuming that this injury gets corrected (surgery or otherwise), he could be a top 25 pitcher in the league.
…but Kershaw will be top 10 for the next 10 years…assuming no injuries crop up. He still has the same risk that any pitcher has in that dept.

…BTW, go Dbacks! I’m really excited about the next few years. Have Upton, Cahill, Bauer and Bradley as long term keepers…I’m not a homer, am I ;-)

haha definitely like
upton bauer and bradley as keepers
cahill has to show me he can pitch in …(I always call it B.O.B hah) Arizona
But i’m obviously hoping he can. I’ve got stephen drew and goldschmidt on this team as well.
