Trading away Matt Kemp?

I have Matt Kemp in a 5x5 12 team roto league. Other than him my OF is pretty weak. My starting pitching is ok so far though...overall my offense is just kinda average. I have been offered a trade where I send Matt Kemp and Zack Cozart for Carlos Gonzalez, Dan Haren and Jon Lester. We only have 3 bench spots and 2 DL spots available on our rosters. Any thoughts? My team currently looks like this: C- empty because I'm using the roster spot for a pitcher C- Ryan Doumit 1b- Berkman 2b- Uggla SS- JJ Hardy 3b- A. Beltre CI- Adam Dunn MI- Ian Desmond OF- Kemp OF- Peter Bourjos OF- Kubel OF- J. Schafer OF- Duda U- Furcal Bench - Cozart DL- Mike Carp SP- CC Sabathia SP- Strasburg RP- Brandon League RP- Mariano Rivera P- Ivan Nova P- Humber P- Porcello P- Hector Santiago P- Brad Lidge Bench- Billingsly Bench- Josh Beckett Bench- Matt Latos DL- Andrew Baily

the single Yes vote came from the guy who offered you the deal lol. If it was my team I’d look to package Billingsley with an outfielder for an upgrade. Jordan Schafer seems like the natural sell high guy in your group. Also since you own Santiago and Lidge, it would be in your best interest to acquire Storen, maybe a straight swap with Bailey. If that doesn’t work I’d package Bailey and Carp for Storen and a bench player, that could go over since Carp is on his way back.

where have you been?

tempting deal….I would consider it, but I don’t think you roster is as bad as you make it sound. Your OF needs some help though, so I would try to package a SP for an OF upgrade.

Well he added Reimold to the mix of Cargo, Haren and Lester. That’s a lot and it looks like Cargo may be coming out of his slow start some (b2b sb games and starting to hit some). Reimold is still banged up though. Hell I may pull the trigger.
