Tournament Information:

BMW Championship
Date: August 26th – 29th
Course: Caves Valley Golf Club
Purse: $9.5MM ($1.7MM to winner)
2020 Winner: Jon Rahm (-4)

Course

Caves Valley Golf Club. Established in 1991, this par 71 course was designed by Tom Fazio. It runs at 7,226 yards with a course rating of 75.3 and a slope rating of 142—putting it slightly above average in terms of difficulty. The true challenge for this course will be the greens, which tend to run faster than normal courses. To prepare for it’s first PGA event, the tees were lengthened and bunkers were added and deepened.

My Bench 2

MacKenzie Hughes (second selection this year) Hughes has held his own recently with a 14th place finish at Rocket Mortgage and a 6th place finish at the Open Championship.

Joaquin Niemann (first selection this year) – He’s 12th in strokes gained putting and he has now made the cut in all but one tournament this season, finishing among the top 20 in three of his last four.
