Race: Foxwoods Resort Casino 301
Date: July 18th @ 3:00pm
Venue: New Hampshire Motor Speedway
2020 Winner: Brad Keselowski (3:10:22)
New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Opened in 1990, this 1 mile asphalt/granite oval named the “Magic Mile” has a 12 degree banking. It isn’t the type of course that drivers open up and require restrictors but it does allow a steady move and turn with it that will test a driver’s ability to keep slight fluctuations vs. other courses where it’s more stop and start.
Brad Keselowski (fourth selection this year) – He has a bunch of top 10s here, including a win last year.
William Byron (fifth selection this year) — William has been among the top 12 the last two years at New Hampshire, and he’s currently top five in NASCAR Cup Series this season.
High Risk/High Reward
Matt DiBenedetto (third selection this year) — With top six finishes here the last two years he is a sneaky play to potentially surprise people. He hit a bad stretch a month ago but he’s been in the top 20 twice in the last few races.
Alex Bowman (sixth selection this year). Alex was among the top 15 each of the last three years at New Hampshire. He has quite a few top 10 finishes across his last 10 races.
The Dark Horse
Cole Custer (third selection this year). He has yet to have a top 10 finish this year but he was 8th here last year as a rookie.
