Trevor Bauer signs with the Los Angeles Dodgers

The Dodgers, not the Mets, land the ace pitcher.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed free agent pitcher Trevor Bauer.

Fantasy Impact

Bauer is already the fourth arm being selected on average, with an ADP of 14 per recent NFBC data. He represents the top of the second tier of starting pitching, after Cole, deGrom, and Bieber are all off the board. That probably won’t change much as a result of this signing.

Just like the Dodgers, if you want to acquire Bauer’s services in 2021, you’ll need to pay up. I currently have Bauer ranked as the fourth-best pitcher off the board, ahead of guys like Darvish, Giolito, and Buehler. That’s probably where he’ll stay.
