The New York Mets have acquired Francisco Lindor from Cleveland.
So far what we know of the New York-Cleveland blockbuster:
— Jeff Passan (@JeffPassan) January 7, 2021
Mets get: SS Francisco Lindor and RHP Carlos Carrasco (as @Feinsand reported)
Cleveland gets: SS Andres Gimenez, RHP Josh Wolf, OF Isaiah Greene
Fantasy Impact
OH BABY! While Lindor had a down statistical year last year, batting .258/.335/.415 with just eight homers, he’s just a year away from back-to-back 30+ home run seasons. He and Carlos Carrasco now join Pete Alonso and Jacob deGrom in New York.
Gimenez and Rosario both probably see their stock move up here, as now questions regarding playing time would seem to be answered. Rosario’s December ADP of 340 is really cheap for a guy with his speed. Gimenez is around the 180s, but I’d comfortably take him over a guy like Jonathan Villar, who is being selected in the 140s.
