Track
Atlanta Motor Speedway. Opened in 1960, this 1.54 mile quad-oval track is among the fastest tracks on the NASCAR circuit. It underwent a few renovations including nearly rebuilding the track in 1997 and switching the frontstretch with the backstretch. It should be a fast racing with some dirt coming up on the track. There are grooves along the track and familiarity is almost as important as success in higher speed tracks

The Favorites
Brad Keselowski (third selection this year) — Brad has a up and down record at Atlanta, he won here in 2017 and 2019 but finished 9th and 22nd in 2016 and 2018. He has two top ten finishes this season and I think this will be his first top three finish on the season.
Kevin Harvick (second selection this year) — Arguably the best active driver at Atlanta, Kevin has been in the top ten here the last three years with a win here in 2018 and a 4th place finish in 2019.
High Risk/High Reward
Erik Jones (first selection this year) — In his three years racing here, Erik went from 14th his rookie year to 11th his 2nd year down to 7th place last season. Perhaps we see a top five finish from him on Sunday? He hasn’t fallen inside the top ten yet this season.
Martin Truex Jr (third selection this year) — This has been a real rough start to the season for Martin who has 0 finishes inside the top 12. Maybe familiarity in Atlanta will help him right everything. He averages a 5th place finish here over the last four years.
The Dark Horse
Clint Bowyer (first selection this year) — Clint has a good track record at Atlanta. He has averaged a 7th place finish here over the last three years. In addition to that he has two top 10 finishes this season and he has not finished outside the top 25 yet.
Fun Fact: Each race this season has been won by a same digit driver: 11, 22 (twice) and 88.
