We are already hitting the fantasy baseball content for 2021 here at Fake Teams. Make sure you stay caught up on the happenings, folks.

Today is is our first pass at first base, and we had five staffers chime in with their early view of things. Of note is the annoying issue of eligibility for 2021, so let us get that out of the way for good. Here at Fake Teams we are operating with the seven-game threshold, now and forever. Well, for 2021, at least. The result is a deeper pool of first basemen than we have been used to in recent years, so that’s a positive development.

As always, haggle with us in the comments. And take special care to pile on Joe, who is single-handedly driving down DJ LeMahieu. And in what world am I the lone sane person who isn’t jumping back into Pete Alonso full tilt? Strange, but true. I actually think Alonso was relatively the same guy in 2021, but I can’t put him ahead of the other five guys.

Luckily, this is the first pass. We still have half a year to get it right!
