Target share can help give fantasy football managers an indication of potential breakout players or worrisome usage that could help make the right moves on waivers and in roster construction moving forward. Here are the target numbers from each NFL game of Week 10.

Colts vs Titans

Indianapolis Colts Tennessee Titans
Indianapolis Colts Tennessee Titans
8 - Michael Pittman (20%) 6 - Jonnu Smith (22%)
6 - Nyheim Hines (15%) 6 - Corey Davis (22%)
5 - T.Y. Hilton (12%) 4 - A.J. Brown (14%)
5 - Zach Pascal (12%) 3 - Anthony Firkser (11%)
4 - Mo Alie-Cox (10%) 2 - Derrick Henry (7%)
3 - Trey Burton (7%) 2 - Cameron Batson (7%)
2 - Jonathan Taylor (5%) 1 - D'Onta Foreman (3%)
1 - Jordan Wilkins (2%) 1 - Jeremy McNichols (3%)
1 - DeMichael Harris (2%) 1 - Khari Blasingame (3%)
1- Marcus Johnson (2%) 1 - Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (3%)

Michael Pittman emerged Thursday night as Philip Rivers favorite target and he should be added off waivers this week as he could be the Colts top pass catcher the rest of the year. Nyheim Hines seems to be the back to start in this backfield given his work in the passing game. Corey Davis and Jonnu Smith out targeting A.J. Brown isn’t great, but I wouldn’t worry about it. Brown is still the top receiver for the Titans.

Buccaneers vs Panthers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Carolina Panthers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Carolina Panthers
11 - Mike Evans (28%) 7 - D.J. Moore (25%)
8 - Antonio Brown (20%) 6 - Robby Anderson (21%)
6 - Chris Godwin (15%) 5 - Curtis Samuel (17%)
3 - Leonard Fournette (7%) 5 - Mike Davis (17%)
3 - Rob Gronkowski (7%) 2 - Alex Armah (7%)
3 - Cameron Brate (7%) 1 - Rodney Smith (3%)
2 - Ronald Jones (5%) 1 - Colin Thompson (3%)
1 - Scotty Miller (2%) 1 - Ian Thomas (3%)
1 - Tyler Johnson (2%)

For the second week in a row we’ve seen a pretty even distribution of targets between the Buccaneers top pass options. Seeing Mike Evans lead the charge is highly encouraging for Evans managers as he was expected by many, including myself, to be the odd man out with Antonio Brown joining the fold. I guess D.J. Moore CAN occasionally still make plays. Have fun figuring out which wide receiver in Carolina is the one to start each week. I still am trusting Robby Anderson as an every week start.

Texans vs Browns

Houston Texans Cleveland Browns
Houston Texans Cleveland Browns
8 - Brandin Cooks (26%) 5 - Jarvis Landry (25%)
8 - Will Fuller (26%) 4 - Kareem Hunt (20%)
5 - Randall Cobb (16%) 4 - Rashard Higgins (20%)
2 - Pharaoh Brown (6%) 2 - Donovan Peoples-Jones (10%)
1 - Duke Johnson (3%) 2 - Austin Hooper (10%)
1 - CJ Prosise (3%) 1 - Nick Cubb (5%)
1 - Kenny Stills (3%) 1 - Khadarel Hodge (5%)
1 - Darren Fells (3%)
1 - Jordan Akins (3%)

Brandin Cooks is a reliable WR2 week-in and week-out. Stay away from the Texans’ tight end position. Jarvis Landry saw the most targets of the Browns, but it seems the Browns are implementing the Vikings “only throw the ball 20 times” method of offense which caps all the receivers ceilings.

Washington vs Lions

Washington Football Team Detroit Lions
Washington Football Team Detroit Lions
15 - J.D. McKissic (27%) 10 - Marvin Jones Jr (30%)
9 - Terry McLaurin (16%) 5 - D'Andre Swift (15%)
6 - Isaiah Wright (10%) 4 - T.J. Hockenson (12%)
6 - Steven Sims (10%) 3 - Marvin Hall (9%)
6 - Logan Thomas (10%) 3 - Danny Amendola (9%)
5 - Cam Sims (9%) 3 - Jesse James (9%)
4 - Antonio Gibson (7%) 2 - Quintez Cephus (6%)
1 - Peyton Barber (1%) 1 - Adrian Peterson (3%)
1 - Jeff Badet (1%) 1 - Issac Nauta (3%)

I hope you added J.D. McKissic off waivers last week because he is Alex Smith’s favorite target. Logan Thomas is back and should be rostered for those streaming tight ends. Isaiah Wright is worth monitoring catching all six of his targets. Marvin Jones clearly the number one guy for the Lions and D’Andre Swift is the real deal on the ground and through the air.

Jaguars vs Packers

Jacksonville Jaguars Green Bay Packers
Jacksonville Jaguars Green Bay Packers
8 - Chris Conley (22%) 12 - Davante Adams (35%)
7 - Keelan Cole (20%) 6 - Marquez Valdes-Scantling (17%)
5 - James Robinson (14%) 6 - Aaron Jones (17%)
5 - D.J. Chark (14%) 4 - Jamaal Williams (11%)
4 - Tyler Eifert (11%) 4 - Robert Tonyan (11%)
2 - Dare Ogunbowale (5%) 1 - Tyler Ervin (2%)
2 - Terry Godwin (5%)
1 - James O'Shaughnessy (2%)

This is the second week in a row Chris Conley has seen eight targets with Jake Luton under center though he was much less effective with those targets this week. Keelan Cole reemerged which is a great sign. Both are intriguing waiver adds. Marquez Valdes-Scantling yet again had a big game which people are trusting but I’m in on him, even with Allen Lazard returning. We’ve seen plenty of offenses carry three fantasy viable pass catchers and I think Aaron Rodgers would love to keep MVS’s confidence up as the Packers look to make a deep playoff push this year.

Eagles vs Giants

Philadelphia Eagles New York Giants
Philadelphia Eagles New York Giants
7 - Jalen Reagor (18%) 7 - Darius Slayton (25%)
6 - Greg Ward (16%) 6 - Sterling Shepard (21%)
6 - Dallas Goedert (16%) 5 - Golden Tate (17%)
5 - Miles Sanders (13%) 3 - Evan Engram (10%)
5 - Travis Fulgham (13%) 2 - Wayne Gallman (7%)
5 - Richard Rodgers (13%) 2 - Dion Lewis (7%)
1 - Alshon Jeffery (2%) 2 - Kaden Smith (7%)
1 - Boston Scott (2%) 1 - Austin Mack (3%)

Love seeing Jalen Reagor continue to lead the Eagles in targets. He should be added across all leagues. Sterling Shepard is a reliable PPR stud and Darius Slayton continues to get the target share but has boom-or-bust tendencies as he runs deep, big play routes.

Bills vs Cardinals

Buffalo Bills Arizona Cardinals
Buffalo Bills Arizona Cardinals
13 - Cole Beasley (26%) 12 - DeAndre Hopkins (37%)
11 - Stefon Diggs (22%) 6 - Christian Kirk (18%)
8 - John Brown (16%) 5 - Larry Fitzgerald (15%)
5 - Devin Singletary (10%) 4 - Dan Arnold (12%)
3 - Gabriel Davis (6%) 3 - Chase Edmonds (9%)
3 - Dawson Knox (6%) 1 - Kenyan Drake (3%)
2 - Zack Moss (4%) 1 - Andy Isabella (3%)
1 - Isaiah McKenzie (2%)

After two bad weeks, Cole Beasley balled out right before the Bills’ bye week. If he’s available on your waiver, he’s well worth rostering because when he’s involved, he’s been a reliable WR2 this season in PPR leagues. DeAndre Hopkins is not from this world. That’s all I have to say on the matter.

Chargers vs Dolphins

Los Angeles Chargers Miami Dolphins
Los Angeles Chargers Miami Dolphins
7 - Keenan Allen (21%) 7 - DeVante Parker (28%)
6 - Hunter Henry (18%) 5 - Jakeem Grant (20%)
6 - Kalen Ballage (18%) 5 - Mike Gesicki (20%)
6 - Jalen Guyton (18%) 2 - Malcolm Perry (8%)
5 - Mike Williams (15%) 2 - Durham Smythe (8%)
1 - Gabe Nabers (3%) 1 - Salvon Ahmed (4%)
1 - Donald Parham (3%) 1 - Mack Holllins (4%)
1 - Adam Shaheen (4%)

Kalen Ballage is thriving in this Chargers offense for as long as he’s in that starting gig. With Preston Williams on IR, it was Jakeem Grant who stepped into his shoes, catching four of his five targets for 43 yards and a touchdown.

Broncos vs Raiders

Denver Broncos Las Vegas Raiders
Denver Broncos Las Vegas Raiders
10 - K.J. Hamler (21%) 5 - Darren Waller (20%)
8 - Jerry Jeudy (17%) 4 - Josh Jacobs (16%)
7 - Noah Fant (14%) 4 - Henry Ruggs (16%)
6 - DaeSean Hamilton (12%) 4 - Nelson Agholor (16%)
6 - Tim Patrick (12%) 2 - Hunter Renfrow (8%)
3 - Troy Fumagalli (6%) 1 - Devin Booker (4%)
2 - Melvin Gordon (4%) 1 - Bryan Edwards (4%)
2 - Royce Freeman (4%) 1 - Zay Jones (4%)
1 - Phillip Lindsay (2%)

K.J. Hamler has seen 10 targets in each of his last two games. That’s encouraging for his fantasy value moving forward though the Broncos offense looks a mess with Drew Lock under center. Henry Ruggs continues to have a high target share but hasn’t done anything with it. Nelson Agholor dropped a touchdown. Stop me if you’ve heard that before.

49ers vs Saints

San Francisco 49ers New Orleans Saints
San Francisco 49ers New Orleans Saints
14 - Brandon Aiyuk (36%) 8 - Alvin Kamara (34%)
6 - Jordan Reed (15%) 7 - Michael Thomas (30%)
5 - Kendrick Bourne (13%) 4 - Deonte Harris (17%)
5 - Richie James (13%) 2 - Jared Cook (8%)
3 - Jerick McKinnon (7%) 1 - Emmanuel Sanders (4%)
2 - JaMycal Hasty (5%) 1 - Tre'Quan Smith (4%)
2 - Ross Dwelley (5%)
1 - Austin Walter (2%)
1 - Kyle Juszczyk (2%)

Brandon Aiyuk is clearly the 49ers top man as long as Deebo Samuel is out but we already knew that. Jordan Reed seeing six targets is encouraging though he didn’t do much with him. The Saints offense took a hit with Drew Brees sitting out the second half with a rib injury so I’m expecting the Alvin Kamara MVP campaign to gain even more steam in the coming weeks.

Bengals vs Steelers

Cinncinati Bengals Pittsburgh Steelers
Cinncinati Bengals Pittsburgh Steelers
9 - Tee Higgins (22%) 13 - JuJu Smith-Schuster (28%)
8 - Tyler Boyd (20%) 11 - Diontae Johnson (23%)
7 - Giovani Bernard (17%) 10 - Chase Claypool (21%)
5 - A.J. Green (12%) 6 - Eric Ebron (13%)
4 - Auden Tate (10%) 2 - James Conner (4%)
2 - Mike Thomas (5%) 2 - James Washington (4%)
2 - Drew Sample (5%) 2 - Ray-Ray McCloud (4%)
1 - Samaje Perine (2%)

Tee Higgins is the real deal and A.J. Green needs to stop being thrown the football. I would like this result for the Steelers wide receivers for every game from here on out please. Diontae Johnson, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Chase Claypool all seeing over 10 targets is wonderful for fantasy managers.

Seahawks vs Rams

Seattle Seahawks Los Angeles Rams
Seattle Seahawks Los Angeles Rams
9 - Tyler Lockett (24%) 10 - Josh Reynolds (27%)
4 - Freddie Swain (10%) 7 - Cooper Kupp (18%)
4 - DK Metcalf (10%) 6 - Robert Woods (16%)
4 - Greg Olsen (10%) 6 - Tyler Higbee (16%)
3 - DeeJay Dallas (8%) 3 - Gerald Everett (8%)
3 - Travis Homer (8%) 2 - Malcolm Brown (5%)
3 - David Moore (8%) 1 - Darrell Henderson (2%)
2 - Alex Collins (5%) 1 - Van Jefferson (2%)
2 - Will Dissly (5%)
1 - Jacob Hollister (2%)

Don’t worry about DK Metcalf’s low target share this week. That is the Jalen Ramsey effect and Russell Wilson struggling. Josh Reynolds has been quietly putting together a strong couple of weeks and should be rostered if you’re in need of wide receiver help. He’s the big play threat for the Rams and has seen at least eight targets in each of his last three games.

Ravens vs Patriots

Baltimore Ravens New England Patriots
Baltimore Ravens New England Patriots
9 - Mark Andrews (26%) 7 - Jakobi Meyers (41%)
7 - Willie Snead (20%) 5 - Rex Burkhead (29%)
6 - Marquise Brown (17%) 2 - Jakob Johnson (11%)
2 - Gus Edwards (5%) 2 - James White (11%)
2 - Mark Ingram (5%) 1- Ryan Izzo (5%)
2 - J.K. Dobbins (5%)
1 - Justice Hill (2%)
1 - Nock Boyle (2%)

Mark Andrews finally making his presence felt for the Ravens and fantasy managers. This is only the third week this season that Andrews has seen over seven targets in a game. Willie Snead has now seen seven targets in two of his last three games. The Patriots pass game is and only is Jakobi Meyers so hope he’s on your fantasy team. Also Damien Harris and Rex Burkhead are the two main backs for New England with James White playing a far reduced role now.
