2019 Fantasy Football Rankings: Consensus top 40 running backs

The staff give their 2019 RB rankings.

NFL: New York Jets-Training Camp Noah K. Murray-USA TODAY Sports

On Monday, Nic posted out his RB rankings for 2019 and since we’ve arrive to the end of RB Week, it’s time to see what the rest of the Fake Teams staff thinks about the running backs this year.

Among the top 10, the two biggest differences seem to be Le’Veon Bell and Nick Chubb. Nic is particularly low on Bell while Paddi is the one who isn’t digging Chubb this year. Bell I can kind of understand: new offense, didn’t play all of last year, maybe you’re harbouring negative feelings towards him because he was your first overall pick last season. I think he’ll return to fantasy prominence this season. Not worth a top 5 pick, but top 10 is well worth it. Chubb I need explained to me. Maybe Paddi put these rankings up before the Duke Johnson trade but I’m certain we’re about to see Nick Chubb torch the league. We shall see.

What do you think of our consensus rankings? Who are we too high on as a site and who are we too low on? Leave your thoughts in the comments!
