2019 Fantasy Football Rankings: Defenses for Week 15

Week 14 was a good week for my forecast top defenses, with 6 of my top 10 defenses finishing in the top 10. My 1 and 2 rankings, the Vikings and Steelers finished in those places (albeit the other way round) and got you 20 points (Steelers) and 14 points respectively. The Falcons dropped in out of nowhere again to finish third in fantasy scoring for defenses, dropping 13 points on the Panthers in Week 14 as they generated 4 turnovers and 5 sacks.

What went wrong for my rankings last week was the game of the season between the Saints and 49ers, with the 2 teams combining for -14 points and both finishing in the bottom 5 scorers in Week 14. Both teams will look to bounce back this week with home games against teams with little left to play for.

The top streaming option this week to help you through the fantasy playoffs remains the Titans, who despite ranking 6th in fantasy points in 2019, remain under 33% owned. I’m also big on the Buccaneers this week, who at just 6.9% owned offer great value against a Lions offense who have just lost Marvin Jones to IR, alongside the continued absence of Matthew Stafford.
