Power Rankings

The Favorites

Kevin Harvick (ninth selection this year) — Collectively he has averaged a 2nd place finish here over the last 3 years. Favorite. Hands. Down.

Brad Keselowski (seventh selection this year) — Up until last week he had a top 12 finish each playoff race. He’s been in the top 15 on average here the last three years.

High Risk/High Reward

Kyle Busch (seventh selection this year) — After winning in 2016 he is getting worse with 5th then 10th but I think he’s going to win one of these playoff races. This one to be specific. He has not been doing well with three finishes outside the top 15 in 5 playoff races so far.

Clint Bowyer (fifth selection this year) — On the verge of not making the cut this weekend Clint comes to Kansas where he was average 14th over the last three years. He will need to rebound from his 23rd place finish last week at Talladega. He finished 5th at Kansas earlier this year.

The Dark Horse

Austin Dillon (fourth selection this year) — He has averaged 13th at Kansas over the last three years and he finished sixth last week at Talladega, I think we see another top 10 finish from Auston who is 22nd in Monster Energy points right now.
