Daily Fantasy NBA value pick: Marcus Smart

So this is new.

For yesterday’s pick, I set both the FanDuel and DraftKings success lines at 22 points. Here were the results:

FanDuel: 21.6
DraftKings: 23.8

Given that Gordon saw just 24 minutes because the Rockets demolished the Spurs (and that I could use some momentum), I’m counting it as a win.

Still under .500 though. Let’s get another.

Pick: Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart

FanDuel price: $6,000

DraftKings price: $5,500

Opponent: Washington Wizards

This is the match-up I’d target Tuesday night. The Celtics and Wizards put up a combined 234 points on Sunday, so there were a number of big time performers.

As I’ve said before, I like stat-sheet stuffers. Smart managed to post a FanDuel score of 25.6 and a DraftKings score of 27.3 despite going just 2/5 for 6 points in Game 1. That’s money.

The price has gone up, but I don’t think enough. Let’s ride.
