There is certainly some skill involved in fantasy football, but am I the only one who feels it is as predicatble as gambling on football games with the spreads? And I do not bet because I cannot mitigate the risk involved.
The game has that feel of uncertainty of outcome and the understanding that completely uncontrollable events occur regularly to dispel the notion of skill involved. Anyone who started Tom Brady yesterday knows what I mean. Less than 100 yards passing?
The NY Daily News ran a piece about the debate over fantasy football as a gambling activity or a game of skill/fun. The link isn't available, but the jist was the NFL supports fantasy football and that is the end of discussion!
