Detroit at Minnesota 1:00 p.m.
The Lions have been exploding on offense the pass two weeks. Will it continue on the road against a decent Vikings defense?
If it doesn't, what will QB Jon Kitna's stats look like? Surprisingly, his game to game yardage has ranged from 229 to 342.
I'd be happy with 230 yards and a TD. In his first two games, he had no TDs.
Given WR Roy Williams past two games (138 and 139 yards), will the Vikings let a different receiver hurt them? If so, WR Mike Furrey looks like he'll be the main recipient. (Man, he's old.)
The Vikings have been TD-adverse for four weeks (four TDs in 4 games.) Will this condition be cured by the Lions the same way the Lions cured it for the Rams?
If so, will WR Troy Williamson revert to the form he showed the first two games or will he have been exposed as an imposter based on his last two games?
I'd guess the former given the DBs in the latter case are amongst the league's best.
The same scenario can be applied to RB Chester Taylor, whose best two games occurred in his first two. However, he's got little competition for carries so expect a rebound to at last the 75 yard mark.
