The Cincinnati Bengals have released running back Giovani Bernard.

Bernard played 16 games for the Bengals last year, starting 10 of them, and tallied 416 yards and 3 touchdowns, plus 355 yards on 47 catches and 3 touchdowns. This opens up the backfield in Cincy for Joe Mixon to see a greater workload, which is great for Mixon managers. Bernard is an interesting free agent with both the ability to run and catch the ball out of the backfield. Maybe he ends up as the Buccaneers’ pass catcher?
