The Minnesota Vikings have released veteran tight end Kyle Rudolph.
The #Vikings are releasing veteran TE Kyle Rudolph, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. End of an era in Minnesota.

Fantasy Impact
With Irv Smith Jr. on the roster, and a bit of money due Rudolph’s way, the release makes sense. Rudolph is coming off his lowest touchdown production of his career, catching just a single TD in 2020. Still, the 31-year-old has a little left in him as evidenced by the six touchdowns he caught in 2019. Mainly, this is a big boost for Smith Jr. as he will be the Vikings number one tight end in 2021.
