San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel reportedly broke his foot on Tuesday during a throwing session according to Ian Rapoport.
#49ers WR Deebo Samuel suffered a broken foot on Tuesday during a throwing session with teammates in Nashville and will be having surgery today, I’m told. It is a Jones fracture, and he should be able to be on the field early in the season.

Fantasy Impact
This is obviously far from great news as now Samuel will be working his way back from surgery to start the NFL season (if there is one). It sounds like he won’t miss too much time with it but you never want to start the season recovering from a foot injury. Hopefully it doesn’t impact Samuel’s 2020 season as everyone in the fantasy community has high hopes for him in his sophomore season.
