Power Rankings
The Favorites
Martin Truex Jr. (third selection this year) — Martin finished 4th here last year. He might be the hottest racer right now with two wins in the his last four races, and four wins in his last eight races.
Kyle Busch (fourth selection this year) — Won here last year, plus, well, he’s really good. He has four straight top five finishes.
High Risk / High Reward
Alex Bowman (first selection this year) — Alex finished 10th here last year. Alex now has seven consecutive races inside the top 15 and that has moved him to 10th in the Monster Energy Cup rankings.
Kyle Larson (fourth selection this year) — Kyle finished 2nd here last year. It’s been five races since he finished in the top 10 so I’m rolling the dice a bit on this one.
The Dark Horse
Erik Jones (second selection this year) — It’s not Erik’s best season, he’s currently 18th and he has just as many finishes outside the top 30 as he does inside the top 10 in the last four races.
