ICYMI – Justin Thomas wins his first WGC Event

MLB (70% of the way into the season)

· Thanks to a walk off hit from Andrew Benintendi in the bottom of the 10^th inning the Red Sox swept the Yankees.

· Christian Yelich is playing unbelievable with 16 runs, 12 RBI’s and a .458 avg over the last two weeks.

· Tanner Roark is pitching great with 3 wins, a .82 ERA and 20 K/BB over the last 22 IP. Oh and he’s 53% owned. Zach Wheeler is under 50% owned and also on fire right now.

NFL (Training camp battles and preseason)

PGA – Justin Thomas wins at Firestone

· This marks the first World Golf Championship Title for Justin

· Kyle Stanley, Thorbjorn Olesen, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, Aaron Wise, Anirban Lahiri, Patrick Cantlay and Rory McIlroy finish in the top 10.

WNBA (about 82% of the way through the season)

· The long wait is over, Chase Elliot has his first Cup win. He had finished 2^nd eight times.

EPL Preview – Which of the big five is the favorite to win it all this year?

Womens – the season is about 90% done.

· With North Carolina Courage firmly in the lead, Lynn Williams heads up their team with 10 goals (tied for league lead)

· Portland Thorns sit in second as Lindsey Horan holds the co-lead with Lynn Williams.

MLS – the season is about 70% done.

· Call this the year of Josef Martinez. With 26 goals in 24 games, he has more than 11 goals more than the next closest (Zlatan Ibrahimovic with 15).

· Eleider Alvarez got a KO over Sergey Kovalev in the 7^th round despite battling through some injuries.
