Week 12 PPR WR/TE Sleepers
As we enter week 12 in this NFL season, injuries are starting to affect fantasy teams all around. With teams on their bye weeks as well, it is my job to give you the best advice for up and coming receivers and tight ends that can help fantasy owners in PPR format leagues. As everyone knows, WR and TE are very important to fantasy owners in PPR leagues. This makes it crucial to find those under the radar guys during waivers each week. Don't miss out on the next big stud.
Heading into week 12
All players on my list are owned in less than 35% of ESPN Leagues
John Brown - Wide Receiver - Arizona Cardinals (23.2% owned)
The quick shifty John Brown has had a very solid NFL season. A player that is capable of making huge plays, John Brown uses his great speed to separate himself from defensive backs. He will face off against a tough legion of boom defense but look for the Cardinals to take a couple deep shots down the field with Brown. Look for his speed to come into play against lengthy and big corners for Seattle that are slower at changing direction. With a lot of the focus on Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd, and Andre Ellington; John Brown has made the most of his opportunities all year long and will continue to face the weaker cornerbacks for teams. Do yourself a favor and give Mr. Brown a chance this week.
Kenny Stills - Wide Receiver - New Orleans Saints (14% owned)
Another big play talent is Kenny Stills. Yes, Kenny was on my list last week but with the loss of Brandin Cooks, look for Mr. Stills to get some more looks. Majority of Kenny Still's catches are deep passes down the field so he can be a hit or miss sometimes. But against a Ravens secondary who has allowed the 4th most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers since week 6, I have a good feeling that we could see a huge night from the big play receiver. The touchdowns have to eventually come which will give him even better fantasy numbers. Take a shot on Kenny in deeper formats with a big ceiling for success this week.
Marcedes Lewis - Tight End - Jacksonville Jaguars (11.4% owned)
The return of Marcedes Lewis is finally here. For those of you who have Julius Thomas who may be out this week, keep an eye on Mr. Lewis. He will be facing a Colts team who has struggled against the tight end all year long. Marcedes hasn't played since week 2 but look for him to go right back to the starting role. With excellent route running ability, Marcedes has the potential to be a big play tight end and could help you move right into the playoffs. Take a chance on the former UCLA Bruin.
Jacob Tamme- Tight End - Denver Broncos (2.5% owned)
With Julius Thomas being questionable this week and not practicing, keep a close eye on Jacob Tamme. Being on a high powered offense like Denver, Jacob could be a solid play this week even against a tough Dolphins defense. If Julius is ruled inactive, go ahead and grab Jacob Tamme for this week. He should get plenty of use with other Denver Bronco weapons currently banged up at the moment.
