On this day in 1951 the NFL Dallas Texans played their last game, a loss to the Detroit Lions. The former Boston yanks would finish with record of 1-11. Here we are 70 years later, and the Detroit Lions stand at 1-11-1.

***Reminder – This effort does not include Monday Night Football.***

1. The Bills dropped to 0-5 in one possession games on Sunday, the worst in the league by two losses (Texans).

2. Thank you ESPN for this one: George Kittle moved to four career games with 150 receiving yards on Sunday (tied with Kellen Winslow). This is 2nd all time behind Shannon Sharpe (6). Two of those four games have been in the last two weeks for Kittle.

3. Justin Herbert has 60 career touchdowns through his first two seasons. Besides Herbert, only Dan Marino has done that in the first two seasons of his career.

4. Per Next Gen Stats: Justin Fields had 122 yards passing Sunday while under pressure (the most by a rookie in 2021).

5. Myles Garrett had a good Sunday. The Browns won, he set the franchise record for sacks in a season, and he scored his first NFL touchdown.

6. Over half of Ja’Marr Chases’s TDs have been 20+ yard completions.

7. Another gem from Next Gen Stats – going into Sunday, Rhamondre Stevenson, Elijah Mitchell, and Christian McCaffrey lead the NFL in number of snaps with eight defenders in the box.

8. Cam Newton has 74 career rushing scores, 30 more than any other quarterback in NFL history.

9. On Sunday, Josh Gordon scored his first TD since September 8th 2019.

10. Trevor Lawrence has 14 INTs (tied for most in the NFL with Joe Burrow) through 13 games played. This would put him on pace for just over 17 INTs on his rookie season. Through three years at Clemson he threw 17 total INTs through 35 games played.
