Here are my wide receiver rankings for Week 3 of fantasy football. There are plenty of great matchups this week to take advantage of in your fantasy leagues.
Mark today as the day that I am officially ranking Calvin Ridley ahead of Julio Jones in fantasy football. Did we ever think this day would come? Maybe. Did we think this day would come in 2020? Definitely not. Now, Jones is my WR3 this week so it’s not as though he’s been cast into the either with no hope of ever returning, but come on, Ridley is the best fantasy receiver through two weeks and so it’s time to give the man his due. He’s earned it.
This is the week for the re-emergence of Keenan Allen as a WR1 in fantasy (even though I ranked him just out of WR1 territory but, much like a Christmas gift, it’s the thought that counts). Rookie Justin Herbert will correctly be getting the the start against a terrrrrrrrible Panthers defense. I like the Chargers offense to be able to take full advantage.
I’m not expecting Stefon Diggs to follow up his HUGE Week 2 with another big performance facing off against Jalen Ramsey. The Rams have been one of the best teams so far in points allowed to wide receivers, giving up the third fewest.
Final note, any receiver with an asterisk means they are dealing with an injury and might not be ready to go Week 3. I have them ranked as if they will be playing in Week 3.
