Mohamed Sanu signs with the San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers adding much needed depth to their receiver room.

The San Francisco 49ers are signing veteran wide receiver Mohamed Sanu.

Fantasy Impact

This signing makes a ton of sense for a ton of reasons. First, the 49ers need receiving help badly with Deebo Samuel suffering a set back and George Kittle dealing with a knee injury. Second, Sanu played under Kyle Shanahan in Atlanta so the two are familiar with each other. I’m not sure Sanu needs to be rostered right away, but he’s certainly a name to keep eyes on, particularly in very deep leagues.
