David Njoku out 3 weeks with sprained MCL

The Cleveland Browns have placed tight end David Njoku on IR with a knee injury.

The good news is that it doesn’t seem like the Browns are expecting Njoku to be gone for too long (remember, players can come off IR this year). Njoku looked like the better tight end Sunday in the Browns loss to the Ravens, catching all three of his targets for 50 yards and a touchdown. His absence will make way for more work going to Austin Hooper.
