Course
Sedgefield Country Club. Established in 1926, this 7,120 yard par 70 course was designed by Donald Ross. It is fairly open featuring some thicker roughs and rolling hills. The generous space must be used, if players wonder off too much, they will need a weed Wacker to get their ball out.

My Starting 4
Webb Simpson (4th selection this year) — Here is your lock: 3rd, 2nd, 2nd (that’s where he has finished the last three years here).
Joaquin Niemann (2nd selection this year) — Joaquin has been in the top 35 here the last two years. He has struggled lately with two missed cuts in his last four tournaments but he still holds the 8th most strokes gained approaching the green and 22nd most strokes gained tee to green.
Rory Sabbatini (2nd selection this year) —Rory has been inside the top 60 each of the last three years here, two of those years he landed in the top 10. He started off slow but he has since rebounded with three top 25 finishes in his last six tournaments.
Brandt Snedeker (1st selection this year) – Winner here two years ago and 39th last year. Since he returned from the break, he has yet to finish in the top 40 in any tournament.
My Bench 2
Patton Kizzire (1st selection this year) – Patton finished 24th here in 2017 and 13th here last year . Patton has not had the best year with 11 missed cuts across 19 tournaments. His 6th place at Travelers Championship was the lone high point.
Ryan Armour (1st selection this year) — Ryan has landed in the top 25 each of the last three years here and two of those years he was in the top 10. Ryan recently missed three cuts but prior to those he had back to back top ten finishes. Very hot and cold here.
Fun Fact: Sam Snead has 8 wins here including the very first time this tournament was held in 1938 where he won by 5 strokes. Everyone of his 8 wins was by at least 5 strokes!
