With under 50 days until the start of the NFL season, its time to start breaking out the positional rankings to help you with your draft boards so you can crush your drafts. I’m starting with the quarterback position and will drop each position group as we go through the next month.
I’ve written recently about Jimmy Garoppolo and Ryan Tannehill being guys I keep drafting when I go for a late round quarterback options, as well as my view who will be this year’s version of some of 2019’s top quarterbacks, so you should be pretty well covered when identifying who to draft in 2020.

| Lamar Jackson | BAL | 8 | Jackson barely misses a beat and leads all qbs in rushing again |
| Kyler Murray | ARI | 8 | Murray steps up in year 2 and gets a boost from the addition of an elite receiver to throw to |
| Deshaun Watson | HOU | 8 | Watson doesn't miss a beat even without Deandre Hopkins in town |
| Russell Wilson | SEA | 6 | Wilson remains a top-5 fantasy QB asset with top-3 upside |
| Dak Prescott | DAL | 10 | Dak remains eilte as he plays for his big contract |
| Matt Ryan | ATL | 10 | The league's most pass-happy offense means Ryan is a QB1 in 2020 |
| Carson Wentz | PHI | 9 | With a healthy receiving corps, Wentz has an uptick this season |
| Josh Allen | BUF | 11 | Allen's rushing prowess keeps him a top-10 asset in 2020 |
| Daniel Jones | NYG | 11 | Danny Dimes will be throwing lots in New York and will put up big numbers |
| Matthew Stafford | DET | 5 | Stafford picks up where he left off in 2019 |

| Jared Goff | LAR | 9 | Goff's floor makes him a borderline QB1 |
| Jimmy Garoppolo | SF | 11 | Kyle Shanahan is a genius and Jimmy could crack the top-10 if things fall right |
| Ryan Tannehill | TEN | 7 | I'm backing Tannehill to keep his 2019 renaissance going |
| Tom Brady | TB | 13 | Brady is no longer elite but servicable with a weapons upgrade |
| Baker Mayfield | CLE | 9 | The pieces are there but I'm not convinced Mayfield puts it all together |
| Drew Brees | NO | 6 | Brees has to do less in one of the league's best all-round teams |
| Ben Roethlisberger | PIT | 8 | Could be a steal in 2020 redraft if fully healthy |
| Cam Newton | CAR | 13 | I want Cam to be back to his best but there's too many questions to rank him higher |
| Kirk Cousins | MIN | 7 | Losing Diggs impacts Cousins' fantasy worth in 2020 |
| Drew Lock | DEN | 8 | I'm not convinced Lock steps up in year 2 and will be match up dependent |
| Joe Burrow | CIN | 9 | As for any rookie, there will be teething problems but he has the talent to be a spot starter in year 1 |
| Sam Darnold | NYJ | 11 | Loads of potential but not yet a proven fantasy asset |
| Philip Rivers | IND | 7 | A new home and improved line but Rivers' best fantasy days are behind him |
