The Cincinnati Bengals have released long time quarterback Andy Dalton after drafting Joe Burrow first overall in the 2020 NFL Draft.

We knew Dalton wasn’t going to be starting for the Bengals this season and it seems he won’t be backing up either. Burrow is the future in Cincinnati, meanwhile Dalton’s future is up in the air. There isn’t really a starting gig out there for Dalton but I would expect him to land with a team that has an untested QB under center, like the Jaguars with Gardner Minshew or maybe the Broncos with Drew Lock.
