Friday, head coach Doug Pederson ruled out Philadelphia Eagles’ wide receiver DeSean Jackson for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions.
Doug Pederson said that DeSean Jackson won’t play Sunday. Said he’s still optimistic about Alshon Jeffery/Dallas Goedert availability. (Neither has practiced yet this week.) #Eagles

Fantasy Impact
It sucks DJax got injured last week as he opened the season with a bang, catching eight balls for 158 yards and two touchdowns against Washington in Week 1. I was already for him to continue to thrive with Carson Wentz and in this Eagles offense. Sadly though, greatness will have to wait a bit. With Jackson and likely Alshon Jeffery out Sunday, Nelson Agholor is in line to be the Eagles’ WR1 this week. He should see a heavy workload along with rookie J.J. Arcega-Whiteside who’s worth the stash in deeper leagues.
