Washington running back Derrius Guice is in Florida to get a second opinion on his knee. If he does need surgery, he could miss up to eight weeks.
Washington RB Derrius Guice is in Florida today to meet with Dr. James Andrews and get a second opinion on his torn meniscus, per sources. In the likely event that Guice decides to undego surgery, he would be expected to be sidelined six to eight weeks.

Fantasy Impact
Here’s to hoping we see a healthy season out of Guice at some point in the future. This opens the door for Adrian Peterson to return to Washington’s backfield, but really this is going to mean a lot of work for Chris Thompson. If he’s available in your PPR league, go get him. He had a great game Sunday and his already big role is sure to increase with the unfortunate Guice news.
