30 Fantasy baseball thoughts from Week 13 of MLB action

AL East

1 Baltimore Orioles: Pedro Severino is batting .300 over the last 30 days and is 5% owned. Catchers are always worth a flier.
2 Boston Red Sox: Man, was I wrong about Rafael Devers.

3 New York Yankees: Didi is hitting well, batting .271 with seven runs in his last 59 AB.

4 Tampa Bay Rays: I get that Ryan Yarbrough isn’t pitching deep but he’s 7% owned, keeping a sub-4.00 ERA and getting wins.

5 Toronto Blue Jays: Trent Thornton (5% owned) has nearly a 5.00 ERA but he also has 31 strikeouts in his last 31 innings.

AL Central

6 Chicago White Sox: Alex Colome (80% owned) with the 8th most saves over the last 30 days.
7 Cleveland Indians: Jason Kipnis is under 20% owned and in the middle of a hot streak batting over .300 over the last 2 weeks.
8 Detroit Tigers: Matthew Boyd has a ERA above 5, no wins and yet the 12th most K’s over the last 30 days.
9 Kansas City Royals: Homer Bailey has a sub 3.00 ERA over the last 30 days and I can’t help but believe given his track record he’s going to regress soon.
10 Minnesota Twins: Luis Arraez (1% owned) is batting over .500avg over the last two weeks, I know it’s a very small sample size but that’s still impressive.

AL West

11 Houston Astros: PROSPECT UPDATE Joshua Rojas has my attention.

12 Los Angeles Angels: 15 teams in the league are on pace to set franchise records in home runs, the Angels are 1 HR from making it 16 teams.
13 Oakland Athletics: Frankie Montas (13% owned) Had three wins, a sub-3.00 ERA, and a sub-1.00 WHIP over his last 26 innings...but one large suspension.
14 Seattle Mariners: Austin Adams (4% owned) has 24k in his last 14 IP.
15 Texas Rangers: Chris Martin (8% owned) is getting saves for the Texas Rangers, he has a sub 2 ERA and 13k’s in his last 10 innings.

NL East

16 Atlanta Braves: Dansby Swanson is a top-75 player over the last 30 days. Hope enough of you pushed strongly a month ago to get him.
17 Miami Marlins: Cesar Puello (1% owned) a deep league flier having a robust .300+ avg over the last 30 days.
18 New York Mets: Jason Vargas with a sub 3 ERA and 34k’s in his last 37 innings.
19 Philadelphia Phillies: David Robertson might start light throwing, it’s a ways until he will be back but if you have a spot and want a good rebound pick, the next 2 weeks could be good for him.
20 Washington Nationals: Matt Adams is 2% owned and a top 100 player over the last 30 days. This week alone he has eight RBI and four runs

NL Central

21 Chicago Cubs: Pedro Stop (42% owned) - a handful of saves, sub 4 ERA and a K per inning over the last 30 days.
22 Cincinnati Reds: Derek Dietrich after that red hot streak is now batting .111avg over the last 2 weeks.
23 Milwaukee Brewers: Jeremy Jeffress is not having the start to this season I had hoped for. So much for holding on to him for 2 months.
24 Pittsburgh Pirates: Jose Osuna (1% owned) with .300+ avg and 11 RBI over the last month.
25 St. Louis Cardinals: I am trying to trade for Paul Goldschmidt wherever I can. I think he’s about to have a crazy good month. He had a .220 BABIP in June.

NL West

26 Arizona Diamondbacks: Jarrod Dyson owned in under 20% of leagues with the 4th most steals in the league over the last 30 days.
27 Colorado Rockies: Scott Oberg is 25% owned with a sub 3 ERA, hand full of saves and 1.4 K per inning.
28 Los Angeles Dodgers: How is Alex Verdugo under 30% owned?!?
29 San Diego Padres: Manuel Margot watch, he’s had a few regular AB lately and is hitting the ball well.
30 San Francisco Giants: Alex Dickerson (2% owned) has 10 RBIs over his last 22 AB.
