Fantasy Hockey Forecaster: February 18th – 24th

Welcome to this week’s Fantasy Hockey Forecaster! In here, you’ll find:

• Each team’s ranking for goalies, forwards, PK and PP against the other teams in the league. These stats are as of 2/14/2019.
• Three players who are on fire (this might not even be points wise, it might be an uptick in play that signals to me they are on the cusp of some point production
• Three players who are cooling off (this will also include players that aren’t materializing the way we expect)
• Three free agent pickups (among all players under 50% owned, preferably some in the single digits and some that are close to 50 to feed all different sizes of leagues)
• The schedule which will show each team they play and what the individual rankings are for each matchup, this is more useful in the daily leagues where you are looking at individual matchups

2. Vladimir Tarasenko (96% owned). Over his last seven games, Vladimir has 14 points including seven goals and assists.
3. Andrei Vasilevski (99% owned). Six games started, four wins and two shutouts.

3 players who are cooling off

1. Dustin Byfuglien (98% owned). Over his last five games he has 1 assist and a -1.
2. Rickard Rakell (65% owned). As goes the Ducks so goes Rickard (Ducks are 1-5 over their last six games). His last six games have yielded one goal, one assist and a -7.
3. Henrik Lundqvist (81% owned). Over his last four games, he has no wins, three loses and has allowed 12 goals against.

3 free agent pickups (under 50%)

1. Nick Foligno (18% owned). His line of Boone Jenner and Josh Anderson are streaky and they are getting hot, it might be a one week thing but consider picking him up.
2. Jesperi Kotkaniemi (7% owned). I highlighted him a few weeks ago, he has goals in four straight games, he’s winning faceoffs, and he has a PPP.
3. Anders Nilsson (15% owned) Considering the team he’s playing for, I’d say a 6-5 record with 2.44 GAA and .930 Sv % is fantastic.
