Is Jacoby Brissett the start of the week?

Jacoby Brissett flies up to the overall QB7 spot in a delicious matchup at Tampa Bay. Dak Prescott and Russell Wilson fall a bit but still retain QB1 status. Ryan Fitzpatrick is suddenly the overall QB12. Gardner Minshew Jr. immediately retakes his mid-to-high QB2 banner after being renamed the starter in Jacksonville. Jimmy Garoppolo sadly tumbles into the RB3 tier.

Week 14 Quarterback Rankings

Rank Quarterback Team Opponent High Floor/High Ceiling QB1s
Rank Quarterback Team Opponent High Floor/High Ceiling QB1s
Lamar Jackson BAL at BUF Buffalo's committment to stopping the pass should bode extremely well for Jackson's rushing game.
Deshaun Watson HOU DEN Denver's given up decent fantasy scoring results to their recent opponents. Watson should be a-okay.
Patrick Mahomes KC at NE This will be Mahomes' toughest regular season test. Deshaun Watson was able to keep things rolling against the Pats last week though.
Aaron Rodgers GB WAS Rodgers should have no problem staying hot against Washington this week.
Jameis Winston TB IND This is a get-right spot for Winston after last week's dud.
Josh Allen BUF BAL A tough matchup but his legs keep him as a locked-in QB1.
Kirk Cousins MIN DET A great matchup for Cousins to produce Top 10 results in.
Jacoby Brissett IND at TB A date with Tampa Bay means the whole Indy passing game should be given starting consideration.
Drew Brees NO SF Although it's a tough matchup, the important part of the equation is that they'll be playing in the Superdome.
Dak Prescott DAL at CHI Prescott's had mixed results against dominant pass defenses over the last two weeks (@ NE and BUF), but we like his odds of retaining QB1 honors against the Bears.
Russell Wilson SEA at LAR Seattle's committment to the run is hurting Wilson's ability to produce.
Ryan Fitzpatrick MIA at NYJ Fitz and DeVante Parker at going to shred this middling defense.
High Floor/High Ceiling QB2s
Carson Wentz PHI NYG Wentz is starting to get it done in the box score and the G-Men can't stop anything through the air.
Tom Brady NE KC A date with KC's high-powered offense should force New England to ride-or-die by Brady's arm.
Ryan Tannehill TEN at OAK Tannehill finally let us down, for the first time this season, last week against Indianapolis. This is a much easier matchup for him though.
Kyler Murray ARI PIT This is a very tough spot for Murray.
Matt Ryan ATL CAR Carolina's pass defense is lethal and an ailing Julio Jones doesn't help the matter.
Gardner Minshew Jr. JAX LAC Tough matchup with a defense regaining its health. Minshew and his pass catchers are too hot to drop any lower though.
Sam Darnold NYJ MIA Miami's offense should keep Darnold throwing. Miami's defense should keep Darnold scoring.
Baker Mayfield CLE CIN Get-right spot, incoming.
Philip Rivers LAC at JAX Minshew should keep Rivers throwing.
Jared Goff LAR SEA A likely shootout on tap.
Devlin Hodges PIT at ARI Hodges could work his way into mid-tier QB2 relevance in such a good matchup.
Jimmy Garoppolo SF at NO Jimmy G will be forced to throw to keep pace with the Saints.
Low Floor/Capped Ceiling QB3s
Kyle Allen CAR at ATL Allen should be able to take advantage of this one but he really is terrible.
David Blough DET at MIN Blough actually has a significant mid-QB2 ceiling. He could throwing a barrage of interceptions though.
David Carr OAK TEN Bad matchup for the struggling QB.
Mitchell Trubisky CHI DAL Trubisky has turned things around as of late but this is a very tough matchup.
Drew Lock DEN at HOU Lock looke okay, but he's unlikely to bring much to the box score this year.
Andy Dalton CIN at CLE It's a moderately good matchup but this passing game is too bad to touch.
Eli Manning NYG at PHI The Eagles' D-Line will feast on Manning all day long.
Dwayne Haskins Jr. WAS at GB This will be a tough one for Haskins. It's a bad matchup.
