The Indianapolis Colts are signing wide receiver Dontrelle Inman, who played for them in 2018.
A reunion: The #Colts are re-signing WR Dontrelle Inman, source said. He played for them in 2018 and it makes sense given their injuries.— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) December 10, 2019
Given how barren the Colts are at wide receiver, the move makes sense. I’m actually surprised the Patriots didn’t call Inman prior to this given how bad their offense has looked. I don’t see him stepping into an immediate role, he’s likely more of a depth signing than anything. In nine games last year with the Colts, Inman caught 28 balls for 304 yards and three touchdowns.
