Below are a list of players who are the beneficiaries of some considerable talents on the line with them. In this day and age, lines are quite fluid, sometimes changing mid game but the following ones seem to have some partial form of stickiness which I am going to support at least for the near term future.
Better bets
Ryan Strome (C, RW) 40% owned
Sitting along Artemi Panarin and Jesper Fast on the Rangers squad, Ryan has received some quality time along one of the more prolific scorers in the league. He now has goals in three of his last four as his time on ice has gone up about 2 minutes per game. The 5th overall pick in 2011 has taken time to come into his own but he’s well on his way to a career year currently.
Barrett Hayton (C, LW) 1% owned
Having played just a handful of games as the 5th overall pick in 2018, Barrett is on the top Arizona Coyotes line with Phil Kessel and Christian Dvorak. He has yet to see PP time but he does have three points in his six games played and he’s firing more shots as the season progresses.
Trevor Moore (LW, RW) 5% owned
I picked up Trevor in every league possible the other day. He’s spending time on the Maple Leafs top line with John Tavares and Mitch Marner. Even if this was every OTHER game (which I know makes no sense) I’m all in on Trevor.
Dominik Simon (LW, RW) 3% owned
Still just 3% owned which is mind-blowing. He’s on the line with Sidney Crosby and Jake Guentzel! Is that not good enough? Ok, he has 8 points in the last 10 games over which time he has 19 shots, nine hits, five blocked shots and is a plus 2. All of that puts him in top 50 space.
Joel Farabee (LW, RW) 2% owned
The top Flyers line with Claude Giroux and James Van Riemsdyk isn’t the worst company to be in. Joel has responded with two goals in three games and he had five shots in the last game.
Deeper fliers/less stickability
Denis Gurianov (LW, RW) 3% owned
It’s not that I don’t believe in Denis who is sitting on the top line with Tyler Seguin and Alexander Radulov (as well as sitting on the Stars 2nd PP unit) but the Stars came out of the gate so dominant, I think their scoring pace is going to slow soon and as a de facto result, Denis’s recent pace (four goals and 1 assist in his last six games) will come down a bit.
Alexander Volkov (RW) 0% owned
This is a deep reach as he’s played just 2 games and he’s really filling in for Pat Maroon and Anthony Cirelli but he spent time on the Lightning top line with Steven Stamkos and Nikita Kucherov which puts him high on the short term adds list.
Robert Thomas (C, RW) 2% owned
This is likely short lived but he has two goals and three total points in the last four games as well as four hits and a +2. He’s spending time on the Blues top line with Brayden Schenn and Jaden Schwartz currently as well as the 2nd power play unit.
Adam Gaudette (C) 0% owned
This 149th overall pick in 2015 might be a short term blip but in three games played with the Vancouver Canucks, he has 2 goals and he’s shooting almost three shots per game with a +3. He’s alongside Bo Horvat and Tanner Pearson.
