New York Jets tight end Chris Herndon is set to miss extended time with a fractured rib, according to head coach Adam Gase.
#Jets coach Adam Gase said TE Chris Herndon is out an extended period of time with a broken rib. Apparently, it’s an upper rib, which may explain why he’ll miss multiple games. Meanwhile, OL Brian Winters re-disclocated his shoulder.

I’m starting to think Chris Herndon is cursed. The man just can’t seem to get healthy and get on the field. This is a bummer for anyone who’s been holding onto him, waiting for him to thrive in New York. Not happening now. Best you can do: go get Demaryius Thomas who’s becoming more and more a part of the Jets’ passing game.
